Methodology

This section will, over time, be filled with the requisite theoretical resources for researching virtual reality from an interactionist standpoint. In the meantime, here are a couple of extremely insightful lectures by Charles Goodwin. His focus on embodied, multimodal co-operative action represents the theoretical backbone of the project.

The video below is from Goodwin’s keynote presentation during the 2017 Copenhagen Multimodality Day. It’s a deeply passionate and emotional talk. I warmly recommend anybody interested in contemporary interaction analysis to watch it.
